Trappist Beer

Authentic Trappist Beer (Trappist Ale) is brewed under supervision and responsibility in a trappist monastery. A part of the profits must be donated to charity. Only eleven breweries in the world are labelled "Authentic Trappist". Five of them are located in Belgium:

(The Belgian Brewery Achel has recently lost the label "Authentic Trappist" because the beer is no longer brewed by monks.)
